Currency Redesign

With the help of friends and relatives form Germany, I was able to gather information about their country’s current currency: the euro. Germans like to hold to tradition, and so I was able to bring back the Deutsche Mark that ended in production in 1990-2002. I redesigned Germany's 10, 20 and 50 dollar bill by implementing famous and historic poets and musicians. The 10 consisted of Ludwig van Beethoven – a world renowned composer and pianist, the 20 consisted of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe – a literary genesis, and the 50 consisted of Johannes Gutenberg – the inventor, printer, publisher, and goldsmith known for the movable-type printing press.. All design elements were created in Illustrator and Photoshop.
